Meizu Blue Charm Metal was officially announced in China on October 21. It is the first device from the company that runs on Alibaba’s YunOS with Flyme UI on top of it. Now, the Meizu Metal can be purchased worldwide from Gearbest.

The Meizu Metal comes in two storage variants – 16GB ROM and 32GB ROM. The phablet is available in Gray and White color variants on Gearbest and are currently on pre-order. The Meizu Metal 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM has been priced at US $173.89 and the 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant will set you back by $209.96. The unlocked device will start shipping from November 28, 2015.

Meizu Metal Specifications
The Meizu Metal features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass, that is protected by T2X-1 glass. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor along with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes in 16 / 32 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Flyme OS 5 out of the box based on Alibaba’s YunOS.
The Metal comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lenses, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 162 grams. It has a full metal unibody with custom alloy frame along with mBack touch-sensitive home button, which offers different functions based on press. Also, comes with mTouch 2.1 fingerprint recognition technology for payments using mPay. It has hybrid Dual SIM where the second SIM slot can be used for microSD card.
The Meizu Metal includes 4G LTE (FDD-LTE : 1800/2100/2600 MHz), 3G (WCDMA : 850/900/1900/2100 MHz), 2G (GSM : 850/900/1800/1900 MHz), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,140 mAh battery under the hood.
