Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is on the horizon and has been spotted on Geekbench. It has revealed some of the specifications of the successor of Mi Pad. Lets have a look at the rumoured specifications of the upcoming tablet from Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Rumoured Specifications
According to previous rumours, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will feature the same 7.9-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) IPS display but there is a possibility that it might come with a 2K display. Now, according to the Geekbench listing, it will be powered by a 2.24 GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor that also supports 2K display. It will have 2 GB of RAM on board along with 16 GB of internal storage. The tablet will run on MIUI 7 out of the box based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The upcoming Mi Pad 2 has scored 985 on Single Core and 3268 on multi-core. However, the listing has not revealed any more details about the rest of the specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi tablet.
Also, there were previous rumours of the Mi Pad 2 running on Windows 10 OS. The fact that the tablet will be powered by an Intel chipset, it remains a possibility. Maybe, a dual-boot Android and Windows tablet in the making? We never know.
Also, Redmi Note 2 Pro has been certified by TENAA in China and Xiaomi Gemini aka Xiaomi Mi 5 has been spotted on Geekbench. It looks like Xiaomi fans are in for a treat before the end of 2015.
